I must apologise to everyone who left such nice comments on the original upload, but I felt uncomfortable with the excessive noise visible on the dark stone window frames.

This is my first uploaded interior shot from Slimbridge Parish Church, I found the door open, & the building deserted so I walked in.

C H Ridding was a Reverend whether he served at this Parish is uncertain. However his wealthy son was definitely the Rector here, & it was he who commissioned this stained glass window after his fathers death in May 1871.

Can't remember what I said first time round, Phil, but ditto this time! LOL! Seriously, this is a great image. I know how tricky it is to photograph stained glass windows properly and you've mastered it.
