This short section of road was cut up around 1975 when the full length of Bristols M32 motorway was completed dividing the Easton and St Pauls community forever.

Originally I was going to upload this scene in monochrome but then the rain stopped and the sun came out shortly afterwards so I soon got my camera out! However there's other shots taken which I may use instead. :o)

Anyone here remember Sade? this single came out in 1985.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Well composed and good color. Looks like this area has seen better days before the motorway arrived. =^..^= sandi ♪

You tube seems to be running slow today. I will have to check it out later. I like this glimpse of what happens when the road goes away. No motor cars. No people. No business.

Nice thought provoking post Phlossie.

I have mixed feelings on this one Phil. While the wall is very colorful and pretty. I feel sad that the rest of the area is going downhill.

That wall looks like railroad cars over here. Lots of graffiti. I think you made the right choice to do this in color. I love that sky. Nice work, Phil.

It is a shame that the graffiti blight found its way across the pond. I wish that the 10% that is genuinely interesting was the only part that made it across the pond, but....
