The sun was just about to emerge from below the horizon, & get concealed behind a bank of low clouds when I took this shot Sean had discretely disappeared out of view.
This tower is very ancient indeed, & is the remains of a Monastery. It's always very windy ( tripods often shake ) on the Torr, & it's often concealed by fog too !
Understand this location was originally called the Isle of Avalon, & was a Holy site long b4 Christianity came to England. :o)

A great angle you use on this old chuch. Great detail in the walls in the pre sunset light.high marks on this one my friend.

It looks like an aged handing reaching to the sky OH Phlossie. I like the dark tones and it almost looks like it is covered with barnacles. How weird is that?
