Paul / paul1972 recently came to Bristol, & was especially keen to capture the Clifton Suspension bridge at night, I myself didn't bother but I did take this early evening shot. You can see his results at Flickr if you want they came out rather well. (o:

The white of the suspension bridge really stands out in the late day sun, Nice rolling hills with meadows and fields in the distance..Good work Phil!

Beautiful photo of the bridge,the lighting is very nice,very nice surroundings,the colors and blue sky are very pleasant,the quality is very good as well.

You've caught this with great light Phil. The long shadows add to the image. You've also pictured the bridge from a great angle to get the whole structure in.

A great dusk shot Phlossie. The is a Clifton Bridge on the Des Moines River between Ottumwa and Eldon, Iowa. I will have to venture up that way sometime and take a shot. It really takes me back to my childhood. What a sweet shot. Paul's Flickr gallery is impressive.

Looks good in that soft early evening light Phil. It's a terrific sight. I remember crossing it on the way to Clevedon in my Grandad's Rover P6 when I was a kid.
