I don't know what type of duck this is folks but seeing the dull plumage, & large size I reckon it's a female fat with a clutch of eggs. Surely there will be a patter of tiny flippers soon. (o:

The duck reminds me of a Baseball player that was nicknamed "No Neck". He was a short stocky guy, too. Beautiful color, lighting, and clarity, Phil. Great shot.
