This is my 3rd, and final upload of the First Severn Bridge this shot was taken at 22:35 bst 1 hour 34 minutes after sunset, I've never taken a photograph of the bridge so late into the night, and noise proofed a problem!
Thank you to everybody who has viewed, and commented on this mini series, on a historical note the suspension bridge took five years to construct, and was opened by the Queen in 1966, six builders lost their lives!
In late July I hope to have a new camera, and will go on a photo shoot with Paul Thompson / paul1972, we plan to photograph the crossing from a different angle this time.Thank you once again for the interest you've shown, and have a nice day. (o:

A little noise makes the night air mysterious Phlossie. The lights glow which offsets the noise.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
You sure are dedicated to stay with this shoot for so many hours. A dedicated photographer and the shots were worth it. I love this with all the twinkly lights and the reflections of them shining on the water. Fine night photography.

Noise is a problem when taking late night shots. I think you have managed to take care of that very well in this beautiful shot.

Liking this a lot... and coming with a note that I tried X4 Noise Reducer on it... 20,30,40 with some satisfaction (for me). I remember X3 doing a creditable job at this task as well. ☺
