With the exception of the Mandarin, the North American Wood Duck is one of the most colourful birds at WWT Slimbridge.
The plumage on this gent wasn't as colourful as I've seen before but I suppose it's in relation to the breeding season, I'll show you his missus next, she's a real cuty. (o:
