Well done. However, the blurred arm throws me a bit. Almost like it doesn't belong to her. Maybe this is what you are going for. It does evoke emotion.

I have been asked to comment on your image. The B/W is fantastic. It really brings out her expression. The composition is superb. However, the image breaks down when you get to her arm. The hand is blurred and the arm is very grainy. I suggest using a tripod and increasing your f-stop one or two stops to increase DOF. This will cause a longer shutter time so a tripod is necessary. Overall though, this is a better than average image. You definitely have an artistic eye.

I have to agree with all of the comments above. The arm is just a bit too grainy, IMHO, but overall, it is a very good image! Well done!

i like this alot. i see the blur, but it's easily overlooked. the subject matter (the girl's look of intense concentration, and following off-camera instruction) easily overcomes anything else, and that's the indication of a job well done :)

I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band, I saw a needle that winked its eye. But I think I will have seen everything When I see an elephant fly. MY GALLERY

Thanks for your comments. Yes, folks I know the arm is out of focus. It was an intentional DOF decision. The focus is on the concentration in the eyes. Thanks again. I love getting comments on my work. I'm old and out of school so this is were I can get good artistic constructive critism.
