Christmas Eve leaving Grand Canyon Nat'l Park. This magnificent creature was foraging just 50ft. from the road. Not concerned in the least with the hoards of Japanese tourists who jump out of their cars, causing a traffic jam, snapping pictures of him.

Looks like he's built for the cold and you've captured him very well. Is this a tamed elk? He doesn't seem overly concerned about the nearness of you !!!
