Gerritt..I think this would be more wallpaper friendly if the focus was a bit more fixed on the cat. Your image is a bit blurred. Your composition is good though. The blanket, as a background, brings out the blue of the cats eyes and provides the right amount of contrast against the brown of the fur.

It's all about the attitude, I've had this look on my face before too. Mostly in the mornings. Great shot, I love it!

Wouldn't you just love to know what this cat is thinking??
Then again by the look of those eyes you really may not want to!

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate them. The soft focus is a post processed effect. I was messing around with picasa's ability to manipulate canon RAW image files. If y'all are more interested in seeing the sharper, original image, let me know, and I'll post it.

Gerrit, it looks like he's warning you - no more! The softly blurred effect works well here. The colors blend well with annoyed kitty, and his gorgeous eyes! He is a most adorable subject :^)
