My gosh...this is awesome..I love that cloud up to the right of the mountains..and the touch of colour still being on some of the trees. The dark green trees sure bring out the white of the snow..and the blue of the sky..wonderful shot!!

What a magnificent visage. Your presentation really allows us to get a sense of scale. It's the foreground treeline that does this, as we have something the size of which we know that we can compare. The foreground also provides a good depth of field. Having said this I wonder how it would look with less foreground? If you'd lowered the treeline we might have more sky to work with giving that "vaulted" look that enhances the size of the mountains. By the way that diagonal across the image is really subtle providing the sense of motion or becoming that helps most scenic images. Good job overall.

Mmmmmm- I love it. The craiginess of these mountain tops remind me of the Sawtooth mouintains up above Sun Valley, in Idaho. Have you ever been there?

Great shot! I have seen many photos of these crags and this one catches it all. I worked up and behind this area out of Dunsmuir years ago. Thanks for the memories.
