Wow..you got the perfect view. I know the spot too...its the best one to get this view from. Portland always does make for a great view when Mt. Hood is showing so well. You did this perfectly....high marks from me....

Even though the mountain is much farther than the city, it still seems to dwarf the buildings. I love the mountains, and this shot does a wonderful job of capturing the majesty of that.

I've never been able to get the shot I wanted from the Rose Garden. THe mountain is either blocked by trees, or there is one tree sticking up straight through the mountain. This photo does a good job of working under those circumstances, although the tree sticking up just below the mountain still seems misplaced to me. But the colors are very nice, and the mountain looks so crisp!
