Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
I can't afford a camera. The only camera I have now is a 1.3 megapixel cell phone camera which really sucks. When I finally am able to buy a proper camera, look out cuz Caedes, here I come!! For now though, I'll just learn from the gurus here *blush*
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
I've seen a purple star fish ;) Just looked it up on Google..lol..Very inventive title, BTW :)
This photo is very well composed in my view. I like how the starfish is so far to the left that it almost doesn't make it into the take completely...it's like she's reluctant to be fully seen, and it makes me wonder if the waters where she resides are a purplish color, as Nature, with few exceptions, usually guards her own with camouflaging colors and mottled tones to fit in with the habitat in which the creature lives. It's most striking and I can see why you took it...Not only is the clarity excellent here...looking at the pattern on the starfish...but the composition is very nicely done, with the lighting on the sand and the starfish giving each a sparkling smoothness that blends and flows with the shadows and shallow depressions. :)PJ
Amazing capture! I didn't know that there are puple starfish... I like that the sand all around is wet, it adds a more vivid sensation to the picture. And the starfish just looks lovely waiting to go back home... Did you throw it back at the sea afterwards? LOL! Great shot and thanks for sharing! ~Katerina
