I'm a tad amazed that they've allowed you take this image. In lot of museums I was, in comparable situations, told that photographing the paintings of the old masters was forbidden, although I told the supervisors that I wouldn't use any flash gear.
So I envy you to a certain extent. Congratulations with this wonderful result.

The Louvre allows any non-flash photography and has for quite a while...at least since my first visit to it several years ago. The Musee d'Orsay didn't allow photography for most of my visits. But about a year and a half ago the president of France took a visit and shot photos. The public was so outraged by this incident, the museum immediately began to allow non-flash photography. Hence, this and other photos you have and will see. Before, I had to make my pics in there much more clandestine *Impish grin*
