I love these contests, where they have different artists decorate the same form, then display them as public art around the town.
Your photograph is wonderful. Perfect lighting, with just the right amount of shading to give the seal dimension (the tail and around the edges of the body). You captured the seal's artistry and humor. And you included that beautiful fencing, the marina, and the land beyond, to give us a sense of the entire experience.
