Currently on Netflix is a sweet, gentle, wonderful documentary called The Irish Pub, which really allows one to see how integral to the social life of Ireland the pub actually is. This is the pub J. Curran, the first and last pub shown in the documentary. Pubs serve multiple roles as the documentary outlines. Simultaneously, a pub can be a drinking/social establishment, hardware store, grocery, and even the local undertaker. Here at J. Curran's, you see the bar side of the pub. If one turns around, they'd see a similar wall filled with hardware supples. The photo directly behind this gentleman is of the late actor Robert Mitchum, who spent time there while filming the movie Ryan's Daughter. Below that is a photo of the actors John Wayne, Barry Fitzgerald, and Victor McLauglin who spent time in the pub during the filming of the movie The Quiet Man. Dingle, Co. Galway, Ireland; September, 2016

Ted, I almost forgot to enjoy my drink because the sight of this pub had fully claimed my attention.

Seen and taken/edited perfectly, so a wonderful one!
