One of the more interesting places to visit is Trinity College. Visitors can see the Book of Kells (no photos!), created in the 800s and highly recommended. One comes out of the display area directly into The Long Room. During the editing process on this shot, I attempted several different ways to make everything look level, but when I leveled the ground or the roofline, the tower was very crooked. When I leveled the tower, the buildings were all askew. I think it had something to do with the curve of the lens. Anyway, this is the best I could come up with. Dublin, Ireland; September, 2016.

Ted, referring to your narrative: in Photoshop there's a possibility to resolve this problem (to a certain extent). If you have PS, please go to Filter/Distort/Lens Correction/Transform. You'll find there the correction possibilities 'Vertical Perspective', 'Horizontal perspective', and 'Angle'.
You can use one of them or a mix of them. Think that in this case the combination of 'Vertical Perspective' and 'Angle' will offer the desired solution. Wish you success!

Very fine image however!

PS: I gave it a (raw) try, just to demonstrate the possibilties. I'll send it to you as an attachment by an e-mail.

Cornelius: I so thank you for the information and the corrected image you emailed me. Just a note: I do not use Adobe photo editing software. Ever. I do have another piece of software that has indicated they will be adding a straigtening perspective module sometime this year. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
