Whenever someone visits the Oregon coast, or there is an article about it, invariably a photo of the iconic Haystack Rock is used. Happened to be there yesterday, so here's my addition to the cliche. Cannon Beach, Oregon, USA.

I can tell it's favorite place to visit, by the amount of activity on the beach, I like that you captured the kite as well. tigs=^..^=

Nature in all her glory is my uplift on life and so is my love of photography. sandi ♪ ♫
Ted, in order to determine the size of the Haystack Rock, people on the beach can't be taken as a reference, because they are photographed close when compared with the farther situated rock. If this is realized, the rock is even more impressive as it already is.

Very interesting and it's amazing how nature creates - lovely capture and like the flying kites plus all the birds above the rock
