i especially like your title "logistics nightmare" i work for UPS and this reminds me of some of the nightmares I have where I am at work being attacked by thousands of boxes LOL : )

caedes....this is by far the best site i have found to enjoy digital art.....i work in photoshop, but don't do this kinda work.....any suggested software for MAC OSX?

This is one of those images that takes a bit of getting use to. I like it a great deal and it is a bit nightmarish. Was Dogwaffle used on this?

The color remind me of night vision goggles. Some of the objects look like homes, several of the have small boxes on top that remind me of smoke stacks, and the slanted roofs of others. While other buildings are larger, more ominous; the kind of buildings that you'd bomb in a war. The problem is you can't because they're overlapping homes, making it a Logistics Nightmare.

I don't know whats so exciting about cubes, but this image is great.
I would try putting translucent textures on your cubes, I think that would be fun.

Every mammel on the planet develops a natural balance or a certain equalibrium with the world around them but we humans do not, we move to an area and we multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way we can survive is to spread to another area. There is only one other organism on this planet that follows the same pattern, a virus. Human beings in the intrest of the planet are a desiese a cancer of this eath. (Kinda makes you proud dosen't it)
