Great work Grim...when I first saw the small thumb I thought the butterfly wing was the head of a cobra snake. It is definately an image that makes you wonder what the artist is trying to convey;-)

thanks very much! i'm really happy with that butterflywing, i had a few other wings to choose from, but im glad i went with that one! bit of a late night mind bender for me! but it all suddenly came together 5 hours after i really should have gone to sleep! so your guess is probably as good as mine as to what i was trying to convey! although theres as story in my mind somewhere, there always is!

Just a piece of this, just an edge of that. Looking at the pieces I don't know how you get there but I'm glad you do. I love this two sides with completely opposite soft and hard feeling.

You know Grim this a really munipulation. Transitions are great.

I think this is a fantastic image. I also had a look through your gallery, you create great manipulations, lots of imagination, well done.

I really like your work but feel you need to improve your compositing skills a bit. Your visual ideas are a 10 but your execution is more like a 8. I think it's because you take on such enormous projects. I am always impressed with what you're able to accomplish however. So I give you high marks.
