A gorgeous view ... so peaceful & serene. Looks like the perfect place to relax with the calm lake & snow capped mountains. An excellent capture Jim.

Friends are like shining stars. You may not always see them, but you know they are always there for you.

What a lovely shot, full of quiet majesty. I love the range of cool, deep blues and greens contrasted with the hint of sunshine on the snowy peak. Excellent work!

Couldn't agree more with .krt comment above. The water color is spectacular in this scene. Very well composed.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

A beautiful photograph. It reminds me of Lake Louise in Banff, Alberta! The colours in this photograph compared to your other one of the same place really show it off at its best. :) Patti

Thank You all for the wonderful comments on this picture, I have recently purchased a new camera and I'm still trying to figure out all the settings and adjustments to get the colors more true. Caedes is a great place for learning the art of photography.

I wonder how many realize what the eye is actually drawn to in this composition? You can look at the majestic mountains but your eye doesn't stay there long not does it dwell on the water. But the eye, keeps returning to that stump in the left forground. It defines and gives perspective to the whole composition. And, it is the eye that keeps returning to the stump. Interesting and well done.

Such a relaxing, calm photo. Love the water. I wish I were just loafing around there...

A little something? I just don't tolerate with such modesty! You either shoot out of passion or you don't shoot at all! Photography is about seeing things others can't see. --- I guess every girl goes through a photography phase. You know, horses... taking pictures of your feet. -[from Young Love and then Lost in Translation]
