Great job, Greg! This is Amanita muscaria, a poisonous mushroom, for humans at least. "Deadly Angel" but not for turtles! Seems I remember the spot where you took this photo!

The colors are exactly as I remember them and I like the composition. For this, "looks poisonous" is an understatement!

Mushrooms in the woods always remind me of fantasy or fairy worlds. :) It's beautiful and its bright color helps to take me to a nice, peaceful place.
