The pin oak is planted in many places across the Ohio University campus because of its tolerance of extremely wet environments. It is a member of the Red oak subgenera, distinguished from the White oaks by the hairs or bristles terminally located on the points of each leaf. Hope you like!

Wow, sometimes near perfect symmetry is boring but i think this is really nice! The orange, trace lime green and yellow splotches. THis is nice!

Great job capturing the colors. Not easy to get the light and exposure just right, but all your leaves are just beautiful. I love the simple presentations...letting the form and color stand on their own is a great touch.

Another idea would be to put the leaf coming out of a corner of the picture. It'd give it a unique focal point.
