I was having breakfast with some friends at a restaurant right across the street (apparently going out for breakfast is the thing to do in Montreal) and my table was right beside glass doors, which were open. We were just admiring the mural when an older lady came up to us and started excitedly telling us - in French - that it was her son who had painted the mural and she "had to tell someone" :). Interesting people in Montreal.
