I didn't know this was a re-work until I'd read the narrative (yes, I missed the title). This looks more like a shot taken with an incredibly wide lens (1.4 or 1.8). The faux bokeh is very dramatic, and works wonders. Deserves a score much higher than the 60 I'm seeing at the moment. Kudos! +faves
