At first when I spotted this one in VB I thought it were candy from a jar and then I looked more closely and it turns out Origami. Very nicely done.

So these aren't candy, these are origami you folded? Wow! I didn't know that and I still gave it a 9 or a 10 in the voting booth. Very very nicely done! Keep it up!

P.S. If you get a chance, take a look at my gallery. Any comments, criticisms or advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. Have an awesome day!

I think this has the potential to be a really appealing desktop. There are a few things that let it down slightly; the first thing I noticed is that the "horizon" line (ie the edge of the table) is not quite level, which is distracting. Everything else looks good in the preview but at full size loses some sharpness and there is some noise visible in places. I am wondering if the lighting was adequate for the shot; also whether a tripod might have helped (assuming you haven't used one). And perhaps after all that some post processing to bring out the colors even more. I wouldn't bother bringing these things up except that I think the composition and the bold color is just the sort of thing that would appeal to people for a desktop image, so I think it's worth trying to improve on it.
