Well well that is some encounter you had here. Allthough dimensions are hard to judge, i am glad you found it here, and not when swimming.
But what a great creature it is, so diverse and wich such great colors, although i wonder what the use is, since all colors turn towards blue at a dept of below 4 meters.

It is neat/wierd looking. I agree with dutch_postings. I wouldn't want to find that swimming either. Believe me, jellyfish stings HURT like heck. (I've been stung twice)

Oooh, this one can float! Is this the man-of-war? wow, I never knew that they were so colorful!

Awww...Poor little guy! Pretty color though. I think these creatures are fascinating to watch move through the water. They have so much grace in their movements.
