Looks like a rough day to be out photographing and despite or may be because of it, you've captured a marvellously atmospheric image of an angry 'sea' and colourful lighthouse. Very good image.
Great comp and overall image. Your lighting is excellent with great highlights. I like the power seen in winter seas. It would be great to see this same view in summer, too.
I am sitting here in total awe of this photo capture!!! I can just feel the whole thing..I live close to the Pacific Ocean, and i love days that feel this way. I'm so very glad you took this photo as you did...with frothy waters in the front and then all the whitecaps and then the blowing waves...and finally the lighthouse...it took my eyes on a real trip..very very nicely done. Am saving this and going to enjoy it very much on my desktop, THanx so much. Verena
Paul, thought at first sight that it was a manip, but it's real (!!)
I'm familiar with these tough conditions, so think I can say: 'excellent work'.
Regards, Cornelius
May your troubles be fewer, Your blessings be more,
And nothing but happiness Come through your door.
Ownership of land is, at best, a useful human fiction.
Live simply. Speak kindly. Care deeply. Love generously. also, let's not forget-
What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters as compared to what lies within us...=D
Ce grand lac est phénoménal et tellement sournois lors de tempêtes..les capitaines de navire qui y naviguent peuvent nous en raconter des journées à combattre ces éléments déchaînés...I love your region
Wonderful dramatic action shot Paul ! Super fierce stormy sea - a bit scary. The lighthouse looks in peril out there! All the sea foam and spray is caught beautifully - you were brave to be out there :^>
Hello Paul... A very dramatic scene with them waves pounding that lone lighthouse....WEell done....All the best to you Paul....................................................Mick.
