Superb. The composition is excellent, the level of detail (ice on the rocks) is superb, and the stop-action water is focused perfectly. The little bit of sunlight in the backround is a tad distracting to me, but a minor quible in a picture as lovely as this!

Beautiful, tack-sharp detail in the snow and water and an eye-catching range of contrasts. The icicles on the rocks are a fascinating texture against the snow and tumbling water. A real winner, Paul and an outstanding capture.

Great post Paul. Very impressive to me as well as in the part of the world where I live snow and frost have become very rare phenomenons. Thanks for sharing this outstanding capture!

pretty, I like the small touch of sun at the upper right: really gives the viewer the full sense of how cold it is in the shadow. And those icicles are fantastic: they look like organ pipes or flutes!
