Interesting is an understatment Alberto. This is magnificant. The color and clarity are just amazing. I've never seen one quite like it before. Great work and wonderful post. Thanks for sharing this.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
This could have passed for another flower as far as my knowledge goes..I never knew that sunflowers had any cousins that looked like this..I wonder where the seeds are hidden...this is a very nice take and it has such a wonderful in-your-face appeal that it made me smile when I saw it. The greens behind it of course add the needed contrast, and in this particular pic, I'm glad you didn't try to manipulate the sky and bring in more blue, or whatever color, because to most of us, I would say..trying not to speak for the crowd here..this type of sunflower needs no distraction because all of the interest in this take must be placed on the subject itself. I do have to wonder what those two little fronds of what looks like a "regular" sunflower leaf peeking over the top left above the flower are..lol...sorta looks like horns :)PJ
P.S. Now, that I went back and looked again...I have to wonder what that flower at the very bottom left-hand corner of the picture is...it looks like the back of a conventional sunflower??????? I can't seem to stop looking at this..and to the left of the subject sunflower..what is that blue spot? Is that a part of the flower too?
Hi. Thanks for the nice comments. Phasmid, trying to answer to your questions, the flower at the very bottom left-hand corner of the picture is, as you say, a back of a sunflower... but not a conventional one. Right the same kind. That blue spot, I wonder what that is. It is not part of the flower, that I know. Probably a cloud? Not sure.
