i wouldnt beat your self up about it all - I think it came out just fine - very different composition indeed. If I could suggest anything it would be to apply a slight smart sharpen to the brown horse to lift some of its detailing but dont over cook it or you'll end up with some USM lines. And they are just plain nasty :-)

hhuummm yes you have a point there Tisch (the brown horse) looks a little dullin his colour....i will have a play with it and see what i come up with thanks!

Well Hayley, I think this is the first abstract horse photo I’ve seen. I like your background it creates a tonal balance with the dark horse. Keep experimenting, it’s probably the best fun you can have with a camera.

hiya trisbert....mmm yes i am haveing a bit of fun with the pics i got...this picture is quite hard...i added a sazzy black and whight, looked nice in my eyes but i have the problem of the back background eraseing the grey horses eye, but with a wight background it is so much due to the gery horses colour.
so i am now thinging what the hell.....i am going to see what it looks like in a pop-arty type of way?? but i can only try right lol

I think this photograph oozes poetic romance. Moody and atmospheric. Taking out the background and filling in with darkness just emphasises the deepness of the shot. I like it.

This image tells a story. I like the white and black eyelashes. You show the meditative mood of two powerful animals which humans (foolishly) describe as dumb. Far from it. Your photo suggests that on some level those two are discussing the weather and the state of the roads.

great shot .. =) .. a slightly better angle on the white horses face is all I would ask for
