This old church is located in Davie County, NC. I believe near Cool Springs. I was all over the map Saturday and drove right up to it. I liked mostly its humble simplicity. No fancy glass windows, no upcoming events marquee sign, or tall overbearing steeple. Simple.

I think simplicity is so important. Oftentimes excess stuff just clutters up good pictures. And I think focus is the key....you have great focus on your photos..I really like the sky here, and again, the way you got some of the land beneath the main thing(the building)..it gives a nice bit of colour for the eye to focus on...and then upward...Very nicely done...verena

Each day I must take one more step, no matter how small or how large, but I must take the step.

I really love this sweet, simple chapel. Your angle and focus are right on. Bravo Larry!

Every morning I will rest my arms a while upon the windowsill of heaven, gaze upon God, and with that vision in my heart turn strong to meet my day.

I saw a lot of these little country churches when I was driving all over the country. It always gave me a warm fuzzy feeling to see one still being used. Your chosen subject matter is great. Composition is spot on. Sharpness and clarity are perfect. There is something about the lighting that doesn't seem right. The photo is too dark. A photo editor could correct that.

Nice pic. I like these old landmarks that have survived all these years. I would doubt the new buildings would last near as long. Good work.
