Incredible detail on the beetle, Herman... right down to his hairy back! Excellent shot for its composition and shallow DOF. I particularly like the colour contrast between the beetle and the forget-me-not flowers.

Herman, I did (watching your image at full screen size). In the first place I think you have to tell this beetle that he has to visit a barber shop. In the second place I will print out your image and put it at my wife's night desk (surprise, surprise). I can guarantee you she don't talk to me for at least two weeks (lol). WOW this is a wonderful close-up Herman you can see every detail of the beetle and I like the contrast of colors here green with gold/brown and a tiny bit of blue, wonderful mister
