This image was taken during our safari in Botswana (October 2005). When our guide told us he was on the trail of buffalo, we thought there would only be a few. Instead he led us straight through a herd of hundreds! As the herd moved around us, the air filled with dust, giving the hazy appearance of the background. Shot with my backup camera (Nikon Coolpix 4500) and touched up on my computer.

wow real buffalos! great shot! Nicely positioned and I like the colours uniformity, all shades of brown to beige. Excellent!

wow, those are water buffalo, right? I always heard they are so dangerous if they are angry..Those horns sure like like a danger..I love how you took the picture tho. The dusty look made to look even more so with the sepia tones...Very nicely done..they had their eye on you eh? Hope you sneaked out without a problem...By the way, I want to welcome you to caedes, and am sure looking forward to many more of your photos..
