could do with a bit of sharpening on the kingfisher and placing it off center a bit to the left
but thats just cosmetics

What a beautiful bird. I think a little selective sharpening would give it a lift. I haven’t seen one of these before, he looks similar to our Kookaburra in build especially round the head and beak. I’m glad I saw this one.

Wow Herman, this guy stands out with great details - His stunning blue and white feathers are beautiful. And that marvelous navy blue beak and bright blue eye. He looks quite regal on that stump. The pretty background enhances this fella. You did good!

So jealous, kingfishers are my favourite bird, and having a very hard time trying to capture one. One of these days, nice post.
