Extremely tiny flower...

This image was taken in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The leaf on which the flower sits is itself only about 3 cm long, making the flower < 1 cm across. I'm not sure how or why it was growing on the leaf, but I thought it was neat. Taken with my Nikon Coolpix 4500.

Oh my! That tiny flower is actually growing on the leaf? It must be a part of the whole plant then...did you find anymore like it on the other leaves? This is just precious! The colour of that bright green and that tiny flower, its very very touching to see! thank you so...verena

Incredible. The mother nature is powerful to create such a thing. And you are her good reporter... Amazing macro, and the small flower well focused. Congratulations

Amazing. I'm supposed to write something here, but words just don't come out of me. It is truly beatiful image you have here, the leaf of that size and even smaller flower.. good job capturing them. That leaf is extremely green, a bit too bright green I'd say, still, I like it. Thank you for sharing it with us.

You found quite an intresting subject here. The texture on the leaf stands out very well, and I like it a lot. But it seems that the flower looks either washed out or a bit out of focus...or maybe it's just me. It just doesn't have the same clarity that most of the leaf has. Congrats on finding such an odd subject, and thanks for submitting this.
