This image was taken in Seattle in June 2004 at the botanical gardens at the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks. A bright sunny day provided the lighting for this image, which I took with my Coolpix 4500 (unaltered).
I love the insides of flowers...starting with Georgia O'Keefe's work. I think this is a good strong graphic shot. Great color, nice tight composition. Nice.
I have a coolpix 4800 and I find that it doesnt do well with sharp macro shots. I think yurs might be a bit of the same. The colour is great. Yet the stamens are needing more sharpness also. NIkon used to be so great, now I'm not so sure anymore. I had a Canon for years..and I think they have finally surpassed Nikon, at least with Digital. But I do love this colour Very nice try.
Let nothing disturb you, Nothing affright you.
All things pass,
God is unchanging.
Patience obtains all:
Whoever has God
Needs nothing else.
God alone suffices.
