This image was taken in Cholula Mexico, about 2 hours drive southeast of Mexico City. The hill on which these police stand and in the background is actually the Great Pyramid, which has been overgrown in grass over the years. It is the largest pyramid (by volume) in the world, built in 100 BC. The church in the upper left corner was built on the top of the pyramid in the 1500s by the Spaniards after a massacre of the locals by Cortes. The pyramid remained as the Spaniards thought it was a hill, while the remainder of ancient Cholula was destroyed.
