This image was taken at our local zoo and is of Debbie, the oldest polar bear in captivity at over 30 years of age. She was born in captivity in Holland. I haven't had the chance to head to the northern part of our province - Churchill, Manitoba, which is one of the best places to see the bears in the wild.
