Long after sunset... still very impressive due to stately looking mountains. I heard it is quite a challange to take good photos of the place during the day, due to difficult light conditions...

One of the most beautifull streches in China, thats for sure. Those rounded chalk mountains are amazing, and show on many brochures from China.
