This image was taken inside the Reed Flute Cave, just outside of Guilin, China. Named for reeds which grew outside the cave that were made into flutes, the 240 meter deep cave has been transformed by colored lights. The cave contains 70 inscriptions from the Tang Dynasty (618-907). This portion of the 500 meter tour through the cave was the highlight for me, a huge open area capable of holding 1000 people, with a shallow pool giving off this perfect reflection.
