This image was taken in Beijing, China, and is of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest. This icon of Beijing is part of the Temple of Heaven complex. It was built in 1420, as a setting where the Qing and Ming emperors (1368-1911) would thank heaven and ask for a good harvest on the annual occasion of the winter solstice.

Godd picture and great looking Temple for photography. Although, I would really have liked to see what was going on in front of the temple. A little of the ground in front would really make this photo pop!

Nice pic i think it really captures the detail on the temple, it has a digital kinda look and i honestly like it as it is.

A great picture, in and by itself. Good detail,and contrast. The only problem I have, is that it leaves me, like danktoker, wanting to see the whole temple. But that is another issue. The pik as posted is very good.
