This image was also taken at the Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo, Japan, and is of one buyer carting away his purchase. As I mentioned in my previous post, before we knew it, the rooms were cleared of the thousands of huge tuna. There was a small traffic jam of forklifts, front end loaders and carts like this one, carting away the frozen beasts. I panned along with the cart to blur the background, which I thought helped to convey the bustle at the market.

Another great shot here. The movement, the blurred background, the color, the subject; it all gives a feeling of being right there. All that is missing is the smell of the fish.lol
I am downloading this immediately.

The shot captures the pace of the object, and the overall feeling of movement. Nice shot!

Your panning has worked very well. It has produced just the right amount of motion blur to create a dynamic photograph. At first I thought he was carting a huge piza :-) Perhaps the man and his cart could be a tiny bit lighter to make it a little clearer. However it’s a very interesting photo just the way it is.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

Although this is certainly not to my taste (in any sense, actually), I can see the attraction of this image. It's a good concept and the blur does give the photo a great sense of energy and movement. I'd like to see the whole of the cart and the top of the buyer, at least, more sharply captured, but I'm not sure if this is possible as I know nothing about photography. As it is, I'm a bit worried that the blurred buyer might resolve into an old landlord of mine and, although he owes me money, I don't really want him on my desktop... (He would claim otherwise, of course, but he'd claim grass was sky-blue-pink if he thought it would save him a few bob.) Since other people are no doubt unaffected by this problem, it is probably one you can safely ignore.

Keep up the good work.

How did you focus in on that man?! I like this photo. It has character and is well composed. Great job!

Certainly shows photographic skills.

Yesterday's history. Tomorrow's a mystery. Today's a gift. That's why it's called the present.

What a great image. I like how well you have captured the urgency in the moment.
