The photo used was taken in Echo Park in Los Angeles. The name echo suggested this manimplation to me of "echoing" the photo with progressive fade.

Sweet! The bird in the central frame is really nice, and the echoing frames do a good job of drawing the eye into the center of the frame where you want them to be. The frames also allow you to create the artificial diagonals from the top corners down into the image.
