Well, I used all of the available photos plus my 3 free editing programs--IrfanView, PhotoFiltre, and Paint.NET. I created the wall in PF and made the window transparent in IV, then superimposed the wall on the background. I put the molding on in PF. All the "paintings" were texturized with oil paint and relief in PN then framed in PF. The lion head is from a Cesar's Palace photo. It and the flower arrangement were made transparent in PF. The hanging arrangement of the artwork and the lion placement suggest more to the right of the picture.

I don't see a fantasy landscape. You just took the contest base images and placed them on a virtual wall.

The work of art may have a moral effect, but to demand moral purpose from an artist is to make him ruin his work. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - 1832)

Sorry Piner, guess I zeroed in on fantasy and not landscape. I fantisize about being artistic like those were my paintings. I guess I'll delete it from the contest gallery and try to figure out how to put it somewhere else without losing the nice comment that someone made.

Yesterday's history. Tomorrow's a mystery. Today's a gift. That's why it's called the present.

Cute idea Jean! I don't think Piner was out to hurt your feelings....just suggesting it may not come off as a fantasy landscape. I have been contemplating an entry myself but have had a hard time figuring if mine is a simple manipulation or an actual fantasy landscape as the contest calls for. Your idea is sweet and very creative.
