this is my first pic on this site. i was walking home with my new camera and saw this flower so i got down and took a pic and i got this great shot.

Oh my gosh! I wish my first picture was that good! The flower is goregous. It almost looks like a fake flower. The angle is really nice. Beautiful picture!

the color is very unusual, but interesting .. had there been other flowers around I would prefer an offcenter composition with other points of color in and out of focus. .. take the shot how it first grabs you .. then look for options
