The entire weekend was very stormy while we were up this canyon in Idaho- but I thought there was a certain beauty to a dark drizzly day with all that color. I hope you like it too.

Wonderful colors on display. Looks like a very beautiful and peaceful weekend. The stormy look is nice too. I find when it is dark it can sometimes be almost comforting. Great image.

Look at all those beautiful fall colours, wow. A wonderful scene on this gloomy day, but it's beautiful. You have more fall colours then we do.

It's not that dreary if you have colours like this to look at. Good capture Kim.

No matter the weather, any day spent in most any canyon in Idaho is a good day! Nice shot!

Very nice Kim. Interesting how this image shows the diversity of trees in this area, and their different reactions as Fall progresses.

Yes, a scene like this can be enhanced by drizzle, the moisture making the colors deeper and stronger, but the overcast doesn't have to put a pall on it. Photoshop can work wonders with images like this. I downloaded a copy into my CS and gave it a little tweak in shadow, highlight, contrast, levels, and sharpen and it came alive. A beautiful scene, Kim. Thank you for sharing it with us.

The first rule is: Remove the lens cap! The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.
