Now I wasn't expecting this. But you are so right. These wonderful creatures fly and glide underwater and are so impressive. You did well to get such a good picture as this in what I know are difficult circumstances through curved perspex.
Hey Kim! Indeed it is very hard to get a good picture of these fish in those thick acrylic aquariums! This one is a nice image with the light coming from behind. It almost looks like this shark is leaving a light trail!!

I tried getting shots like this several year ago at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo aquarium tunnel. I did say "tried" because underwater photos are not easy to capture properly but you did a nice job with this one, Kim.
The first rule is: Remove the lens cap!
The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.
Cool Stingray picture Kim! Weird looking thing. I see things now like their out of a sci-fi movie. Been watching too many movies! lol. Nice job here! Haven't seen the new aquarium yet. Thanks for sharing this! Allen
Great idea for a shot. A very exciting place to take photography. I realise there was movement, glass, and low light to contend with, which has impacted the overall clarity of the image. But the positioning and framing of the subject, the backlighting and the overall idea is 10/10. Hope to see more! Thanks for sharing.
OK, now what is, is a shark of some kind?
