This is the "USS Constellation" in Baltimore Maryland. She is the last existing American Civil War-era naval vessel and was one of the last sail-powered warships built by the U.S. Navy.

That is a beautiful capture of a beautiful ship. You managed to get a fantastic sky, and some purdy foofies in the shot too.

A wonderful capture Kim of this beautiful sailing vessel. Nice composition and angle in your shot. Great sky and inclusion of the flowers to add some beautiful colours. Very nicely done. ~Wendell

An excellent shot of this proud ship. I like the fact that the Navy, or city, or whoever is responsible for exhibiting the ship, decided to use authentic reproduction Civil war-era docking piers, those conical timbered structures you see in the water.

Hey Kim
This is a fine old ship in beautiful condition! Love the light aqua blue on the hull. Your location for the shot was great. You got the best view of this great ship.

Kim - The flowers on the left and building on the right frame the photo well, giving this old ship its due. Inner Harbor is a great place - kudos to the city for its renewal of what was a wretched industrial wasteland into a people-friendly entertainment center, with the retro-look Camden Yards, home of the Orioles, nearby, an aquarium, museums, restaurants, bistros, and more surrounding the inner harbor. Head toward the outer harbor to see Fort McHenry of Star Spangled Banner fame. Thad

A pleasure to view. Historical and captivating vessel. Enjoy your choice of composition very much. Just yesterday I viewed a program about Baltimore and it's historical places and haunts.
