I spent Spring Break on a choir trip with my son's high school and we spent a day at Balboa Beach in California. It was so nice to stretch out in the warm sand especially knowing it was snowing back home! I sure miss it now!

If you were in Balboa, then you were only about 10 miles from my place. Today felt like the first true day of summer too, clear and very hot. I hope you enjoyed your visit to the sand & waves, California has an abundance of both and in many varieties. Next time, try the coast around Big Sur or north of San Francisco on up to Oregon and Washington. All are worthy destinations.
